Student Recruitment Tours

For more than 40 years, CIS and its team of member volunteers have been organizing undergraduate student recruitment tours around the world. Tours are directed by experienced admission officers from CIS member institutions and are designed for participation by experienced admission officers and international educators. Participation
is generally limited to 15-30 institutions. Participating institutions must hold CIS Higher Education membership and institutional representatives are expected to have previous international recruitment experience. Tours are escorted by professional couriers who typically have extensive local experience in countries that a tour will visit.

Tour participants have the advantage of professional planning and tour management
which eliminates many of the headaches of arranging individual international travel.
The tour groups see from 2000-4000 students in a series of college fairs held at international schools and public venues. Programs at these sites typically include panel discussions and workshops for students and parents, as well as networking opportunities with school counselors, and time for representatives to interview students, meet with alumni, and attend to individual institutional needs.
