CIS Asia

CIS-Asia organizes annual fall and spring tours of Asia and the Pacific Rim to provide opportunities for college admission professionals to have direct contact with foreign nationals, US citizens, secondary school counselors and other educational advisors unique to individual countries. The tours may reach as many as 1500 – 2000 students depending on the length of the tour and the types of programming that is planned. The tours focus primarily on recruitment at international schools and college fairs targeted toward undergraduate admissions. Fall tours are normally two to three weeks and spring tours are typically planned for two weeks of travel. The committee continues to explore emerging markets in Asia and the Pacific Rim, having been among the first to visit Beijing, New Delhi, Kathmandu and most recently cities in Australia.
