Nunana Nyomi serves as Assistant Director of Higher Education Services for the Council of International Schools based in Leiden, The Netherlands. In his role, Nunana works collaboratively with volunteers and partner organizations around the world, to ensure the provision of high quality membership and support services to facilitate international admission and guidance at the university undergraduate level.
After graduating with a B.A. in International Relations and French from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, Nunana began his higher education career at the institution. He held progressive positions, most recently Associate Director of International Admissions and member of Calvin College’s Enrollment Management senior leadership team. Nunana also holds a M.A. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University.
Nunana had a third-culture kid upbringing in the United States, Ghana, Kenya, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. This background has given him a first-hand appreciation for international education and a passion for global citizenship.
