WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A CIS HIGHER EDUCATION MEMBER?
The Council of International Schools (CIS) is a global non-profit membership organization that provides services to higher education institutions, schools and individuals focused on international education.
Through CIS, members are able to develop relationships with member schools and the more than 550,000 students they enroll each year. CIS member universities use our services to raise their profile among a highly mobile and academically well-prepared population of students.
CIS member universities are committed to international education. All CIS members agree to a Code of Ethics to promote the highest standards of ethical practice and professional behaviour in the recruitment and admission of students into institutions of higher education.
CIS connects higher education insititutions with schools, students, and the school guidance community through many events each year including student recruitment tours, student recruitment fairs, and several global and regional conferences that bring together admissions and recruitment professionals and guidance counsellors.
