An essential workshop for anyone involved in recruiting & managing staff in schools

 

This focused one-day training session is designed to strengthen safer recruitment practices in schools and create safe learning environments for children of all ages.

Participants will learn how to prevent unsuitable people from working in schools by delving into the key elements of international safer recruitment and promoting a culture of vigilance and safety.

They’ll learn how to identify and mitigate risks posed by potential offenders and establish robust policies and practices.

School administrators, HR personnel, leaders, and educators will gain valuable insights to advance their knowledge and processes in line with effective international practices.

 

WHAT you can expect to learn:
  • Prevent unsuitable people from working in schools by delving into the key elements of safer international recruitment and promoting a culture of vigilance and safety.
  • Practical learning on the features & planning of a safer international recruitment process covered in four modules in one day.
  • Proactive safeguarding via international recruitment: Equipping your school with the tools and knowledge to proactively address and mitigate risks and enhance the overall safety and well-being of your school community.
  • Accreditation alignment: Workshop content that aligns with the CIS International Accreditation framework, which is beneficial for schools undergoing or considering our accreditation service.

  • Expert-led training & insights about the prevalence of abuse and how adults who abuse operate within organizations.
  • Engage with peer learning during various breakout room activities.
  • Examine policies, practices & reporting procedures that safeguard children and reduce the likelihood of harm and abuse.
  • Review your school’s policies & practices in line with international safer recruitment recommended practices so you can make the right decisions during interview and selection.
