Information and resources to answer our membership community’s most frequently asked questions.
Updated 27 March 2020—Hear from Jane Larsson, CIS Executive Director about the new realities for international education and how we will continue to serve our school and universities members.
Updated 19 March 2020—Our schools and universities around the world are making extraordinary efforts to support their communities during these difficult and uncertain times. Key among these efforts is the move to online and remote work to enable students to continue their education, and the big task of continually informing and engaging families, faculty and staff to do this as effectively as possible.
In recent weeks we have received a significant number of emails, calls and requests for guidance from our international education community. To help, we’ve assembled a list of key topics to point you to leading resources emerging from our community of schools, universities and partners, and to respond to your most frequently asked questions.
Meanwhile, we continue to closely monitor the impact of the Coronavirus globally as we track governmental announcements and learn from leading health authorities at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Our primary focus is the health and well-being of our global team, our volunteers and all of you in our membership community. With most school visits and higher education tours and fairs not possible right now, our team is creating new ways to evaluate schools, to connect members and share our knowledge.
The CIS team based in the Netherlands office is now working virtually. We’re used to working with colleagues around the world, so we’ve adjusted quickly to our “new normal” and look forward to staying in touch with you. Keep the questions coming and we’ll do our best to answer them!
