Join us for a new series of child protection deep dive workshops surrounding managing allegations next year. You will learn how to develop a whole-school approach to safeguarding while enhancing your school’s policy development, crisis communication, and trauma-informed management of allegations.
Attending all three workshops provides a comprehensive solution for handling any allegation that surpasses the harm threshold and will help you improve your planning, prevention, and response to allegations of harm. You can register for all three workshops or choose the events that meet your areas of need. You can also register different members of your team in each workshop to build skills across your school.
Adult Conduct
|
Understand what has been termed Low Level Concerns in the past. Managing these incidents is often the first time schools are exposed to what can become an allegation. This workshop will guide schools on how they can prevent adult conduct concerns through policy and procedures, and how these can be managed so the behaviour does not escalate further. |

Communications
|
When dealing with any crisis, in particular an allegation against an educator, getting the communications right is critical. It can be the difference between gaining or losing the trust of your community. In the second workshop, our experts will guide you through developing a communications policy and strategy as well as managing risk at the governance level. |
