We welcome university guidance counsellors and future pathways advisors at CIS schools and recruitment, admissions, and student services professionals at CIS universities.

Keynote Speaker

Dr Laura Penn

Expert in the Speaking Arts & Leadership Communication.

Dr Laura Penn transforms leaders, teams, and young changemakers into authentic communicators of the digital age.

In addition to founding The Leadership Speaking School in Switzerland, Dr Penn is an internationally renowned keynote speaker, book author, a writer for the United Nations official magazine UN Today, four-time TEDx speaker, and hosts Leadership Speaking Radio.

She believes that anyone who speaks to others—especially those in positions of power—must know the foundational principles of how to create compelling content and how to deliver it with an uninhibited authentic presence, a freed natural voice, and unblocked body language.

At the heart of her work, she supports her students to “bring forth what is within” so they can speak with impact, authenticity, and human connection with their peers, teams, and stakeholders.

In addition to her work with leaders and teams from the world’s most well known companies and organizations, Dr Penn is passionate about teaching the speaking arts and leadership communication to the next generation of leaders and changemakers. She works with exemplary secondary students and youth leadership groups to teach them the skills that they need in order to both survive and thrive as communicators and she supports them to make meaningful connections with their audiences so that they can help make the world a better place, one communication at a time.
