CIS LATIN AMERICA INSTITUTE ON INTERNATIONAL ADMISSION & GUIDANCE

Date: 29–30 September 2023
Time: 08:30–17:30 Colombia Time (COT)
Location: Colegio Nueva Granada, Bogotá, Colombia

In partnership with the Latin American Tri-Association and in cooperation with the American International Schools in the Americas (AMISA) and the Latin American Heads Conference (LAHC).

Guidance counsellors across Latin America and the Caribbean will join admissions professionals from our member universities worldwide for two days packed with opportunities for in-depth professional development and networking.

With an emphasis on building professional partnerships and advising globally minded students on their future educational plans, our programme offers plenty of professional development, networking, and group discussion.

With 15+ years’ experience, we offer one of the longest-standing Latin American Institutes for the international admission and guidance community.

You can expect to:
  • exchange ideas that support international student mobility
  • learn about regional developments, trends, and other topics related to students in Latin America and the Caribbean who aspire to study internationally
  • establish key connections across the region
The event includes:
  • inspiring keynote speaker
  • general sessions for both universities and schools
  • workshops and small group discussions focused on university admissions relevant to students and schools in Latin America
  • a school fair helps registered university participants learn more about school programmes and the needs of students in the region.
  • the university fair provides the opportunity for school guidance counsellors to learn more about admissions requirements, financial aid, and scholarship possibilities at each individual university.
Plus:

The event will take place immediately after the Latin America Student Recruitment Tour offered by CIS Supporting Member Wren International, making this a convenient add-on event for those universities participating in the tour.

I think this event brought together a really great group of people. There were significant discussions and exchanges filled with hands on and worthwhile information. All this is set within a group of warm and interesting professionals.
