University Connection Registry

The CIS University Connection Registry enhances communication between secondary school students attending CIS member schools and other major national schools around the world with CIS member colleges and universities. Students complete the online registration form providing academic and personal information. CIS member colleges and universities can then access the registry and search for students to contact with enrolment information.

The students in the registry attend nearly 200 different schools around the world. This is a free service for both students and CIS member universities.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each year, CIS reaches out to Guidance Counsellors around the world to share this resource with their students. Students complete a free profile by self-reporting their educational information such as their grade point average, major area of academic interest, citizenship, and financial aid needs. CIS higher education members are able to download a resource which is used to search for those students who match the institution's admission profile and selection criteria. Colleges and universities then share their institutional application information with those students.

Authorized use of Registry Data

The registry service is only available to CIS member colleges/universities only. All institutions using the registry agree that they will use the students’ information for the sole purpose of mailing their own materials. Registry data must not be provided to third parties.

Accessing the Registry

The CIS University Connection Registry is available to members through the CIS Community portal. After logging in to the portal, look for the registry under KnowledgeBase.
