Skyler has an extensive background in the education sector, with over thirty years of experience. Her career includes roles as a Teacher, CAS Coordinator, University Counsellor and Independent Educational Consultant. Originating from Canada, Skyler transitioned to Europe in 2012, spending seven years in Switzerland as the Head of University Counselling at the International School Basel. Here, she guided students applying to universities in the US, UK, EU, Canada, and beyond.
In 2019, Skyler moved to Denmark and founded Bentley Hall Educational Consulting. Through her consultancy, she has supported career and university guidance at five international IB World Schools: Copenhagen International School (DK), ACS Cobham International School (UK), EF Academy New York (US), International School Basel (CH), and International School of Paris (FR).
Skyler co-led a professional mentoring program with International ACAC from 2021 to 2024 and assists international graduates with their job search in Copenhagen. She is a certified Morrisby Profile practitioner and is dedicated to helping students find the ‘right fit’ university and program to match their interests. Her professional affiliations include the Independent Educational Consultants Association, the National Association of College Admission Counseling, the International Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Council of International Schools.
