How do leaders model their values and engender trust across a school community? How do they translate their values into authentic conversations across diverse communities? How do they develop intercultural understanding and ultimately, a shared purpose across cultures if their purpose is to educate for global citizenship? The growth of such an environment needs to be led.
Collectively, CIS school leaders are pursuing deeper exploration and evaluation of their community’s fundamental values and beliefs about international education and resulting outcomes for their students. They are seeking guidance and support to probe deeper into educating for global citizenship and intercultural competence, engaging the entire school community as a strategic priority.
We have developed a new online course to help school leaders explore and strengthen how their leadership skills support a meaningful international education in your school – Leading Schools Interculturally. Members can register for the online course in the CIS Community portal.
