Primary School Assistant (f/m/d) with focus on IT classroom support

BBIS GmbH is an independently run, state-approved, inclusive, English-medium day and boarding school serving the internationally-minded community of Germany’s capital region and beyond. We are the first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School to be fully authorized by the IB organization to teach all four IB programmes covering the 3 to 19 age range. In the current school year 2018/19 our school teaches about 700 students who represent more than 60 nationalities.

BBIS has an opening for a Primary School Assistant (f/m/d) with focus on IT classroom support.

  • Starting date: 01.08.2019
  • Limited initially until: 31.07.2021
  • Part-time: 32,5/40 hours

Energetic, preferably with relevant qualifications and experience, you will wish to join our accredited, non-profit, IB World School. You will be flexible and enjoy working with students aged from 3 – 11. Previous experience working in an IB World School would be preferred but not essential.

We are interested in hearing from internationally-minded candidates who could commit themselves to all aspects of our popular and growing school. It is likely that the chosen candidate will be educated to degree level and be confident, self-motivated, and with good people skills as well as possessing relevant experience and qualifications. Being familiar with trends in the digital world is essential.

 

The job will include (but is not limited to):

  • To ensure that students receive support in using IT in classrooms.
  • To ensure that teachers receive support in using IT for teaching.
  • Support the Educational Technology Coordinator in his work.
