Being an educator together with being a mom are the most gratifying experiences of my life. The possibility of interacting with students on a daily basis is the eye-opener educators need in order to understand what the future is calling for, reminding us that many times our teaching is based on our past experiences. What is needed in our schools today is the vision and passion to teach in a world without boundaries as we look at an unpredictable future, which should not scare, but challenge us all. I would like to participate in the CIS Board, with a Latin voice, and experience, contributing to educational matters with a different lens and perspective.
