Associate Vice President for Global Education, Global Education Office, State University of New York (SUNY) Plattsburgh
Jacqueline “Jackie” Girard Vogl has been with the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh since 1990. Her beginnings as a domestic admissions adviser prepared her well for her later role as Director of International Student Services, a department that provided an integrated and seamless connection between the international admissions and immigration support functions for incoming international students. Today, she is the Associate Vice President for Global Education. As such, she manages all functions within the College related to worldwide student mobility including international admissions, international student and scholar services, and study abroad and exchanges.
Jackie holds a BA in Classics from the College of the Holy Cross and an EdM in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In addition to being a higher education member of CIS, she served on the CIS Committee on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for several years. She is also a member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, International ACAC, the Institute of International Education (IIE), and the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA).
