Alison Eaglesham joined CIS in March 2018 as the Career and Recruitment Services Manager. Alison is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Career and Recruitment Service team and leads on the review and implementation of business processes and technical innovations to support service delivery.
Alison has over 10 years’ experience in the delivery of high-quality career and recruitment services across the public and private sectors. Before joining CIS, Alison worked for Skills Development Scotland, the National Skills Agency for Scotland, where she held roles such as Careers Adviser, Partner Development Executive and Programme Manager. She led on the development of new national online teaching resources and managed all aspects of a national programme designed to inspire more young people to consider careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
Alison also has substantial recruitment experience from her time as a Consultant with Pertemps Recruitment Partnership where she carried out the recruitment for a wide range of positions across the Scottish Government. She has a MSc in Careers Guidance and Development from the University of the West of Scotland and an MA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh.
