Alan Scott is an International Advisor for the Council of International Schools. In this role, he supports the development, coordination and facilitation of CIS’s online evaluator education and training courses.
Al is a career educator who worked for 32 years as a teacher, Principal and Area Supervisor with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, a large urban public school board in Ontario, Canada. His international career has included a secondment to an international school in the Netherlands. He served as the director of schools in Saudi Arabia and Cyprus. He was also the Associate Superintendent of Recruiting for Educational Services Overseas Limited (ESOL) Schools in North America.
Alan is the recipient of several educational awards including Honorary Life Membership in the Ontario Elementary Teachers’ Federation and the Mentorship Award of the Hamilton-Wentworth District Elementary Teachers’ Federation.
He is based in Ontario, Canada, near Toronto.
